Some of the patients who visit our clinic have little to no hope in dentistry’s ability to help them — and for good reason. What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is commonly known as the “smile in a day” procedure. It utilizes four dental implants that create a permanent and stable foundation for dentures or a fixed prothesis. All-on-4 has greatly improved the usual dental implant procedure and has notable advantages over traditional dentures.
Who needs All-on-4 treatment?
Patients with significant tooth loss, particularly in the upper, lower, or arches, are likely candidates for All-on-4 dental implant supported denture or fixed prothesis. We do require potential patients to maintain a healthy mouth and gums, and they need to have enough bone in the jaw to support the prothesis. In addition to those with significant tooth loss, patients who already wear dentures are also candidates.
